Cruzin' Cousins

Hello fellow blog friends. My blog has been silent for sometime . I have not had a lot to say. For those of you who know me, you will find that hard to believe. So a warm hello to those who may read.

I have just returned from a 7 day Caribbean cruise with my StepMother, Aunt and two cousins. We had a blast. What a shock to come home from 80-85 degree weather to snow and the 30's. Burrrrrrrr My cousins and I try to plan a girl trip about every six months. This is four to seven days of togetherness, fun, laughter and family time. We are all busy and rarely get to see each other out side of our trips. My beautiful Stepmother is fighting for her life in her battle of breast cancer. I pray each day that God will be with her and help her through. My aunt is the glue that holds us together. She is the Mama of the group and what would we do without her.

Just call me Orlando, the famous fisherman. I do think he was a fresh water fisher. My little love Dixie and I are in Fla. again. Work continues on our house with four contractor's scheduled to work tomorrow. But, my love here is the sun, water and any type of water sport. This was last week-end with my honey and I. He is not very patentice and has a hard time sitting still to fish. The weather was nice and it was a great day on the water.

Love Bird

My husband has nick names for everyone. Love ones, friends, employees, everyone he knows has a nick name. Even our 4-legged babies. My name has always been "Love Bird". Sometimes it has been shorten to "Bird" or "Bird is the Word". Any combination of Love Bird is it.

I have been at our home in Fla. since Monday and my honey is in Atlanta. He hates to be alone. We talk many times a day. Where are you? What are you doing? Have you done this? Have you seen this person? What does the house look like? Etc. Etc. Etc. ???
This morning while looking and reading my e-mails, I came across this message from my Honey. "

Warm and Fuzzy

I have passed this sign many times as I,we have driven to Florida. It sneaks up on me when driving alone. Of course I always see it when drivings down with my Honey. He would think I was crazy if I asked him to stop. Honey would stop but still think I was crazy.

Well after the weird snow/thunder weather we had two days ago, I was off for another drive to the sunshine state. This time I was ready. My trusty Canon 40D made the trip on the seat beside me. As I knew I was getting close I was on the look out. There it was up ahead and my car made it's way to the side of the road.

Doesn't it just make you feel warm and fuzzy inside? It is cold here in the sunshine state but the sign did the trick for me.

A Kiss Good Morning

Please let me clear up one thing before I continue this post. My husband does sleep where Dixie is sleeping in the photo below. And no, we do not sleep with three dogs.
We do however sleep with two. Dixie the little cocker and Bella the little chihuahua. But when honey gets up in the morning all bets are off. Katie our lab crawls up on the bed and snuggles up close to me. She loves to put her head on my pillow. Normally I will tell them that it is not 8:00 and go back to sleep. The photo above show us sleeping.

You can see that Dixie has spotted the chewie on the table. It does not bother her that she is laying on my head. Katie can not be out done and needs to have a good look. Bella has to be the center of attention and get in between Katie and me. Once again I say "Go back to sleep, it is not 8:00 yet."

The alarm clock goes off and Katie gives me a big kiss. Time to get up Mom. What a great way to wake up in the morning. Honey is loving taking all the photos. And our day begins.
