The Girls

Let me introduce you to the girls. This is Dixie. She is a little beat in my heart healed my broken heart when my other cocker died. Dixie will be 7 years old this year. She is obcessed with tennis balls always has one in her mouth. She wakes up with one, goes outside to the potty, barks, attacks, anything she does there is always a tennis ball. Dixie is my sweetheart.
Next and the youngest is Bella. When our daughter moved home from Auburn, Bella moved with her. My husband fell in love and we stole Bella away. She is the real priss in our family. Bella is the boss and in charge. She is true to her breed, a 6 pound lap dog. Bella is very protective of anything that is hers. Me, Fred, dog beds, chairs, toys, cheweys, basically the whole house, yard and everything in them. Her nick name is "Rats".
Katie is the oldest of the group and the most layed back. We got her for Dusty when he was 13. She was going to be a boy's dog. One who would go to the farm and ride on stuff, love the shooting range and anything a boy would want to do. Wrong! She is such a pud. If she thinks you are not paying enough attention to her she cries. She tries to sit in your lap. If one of the other dog growls at her or takes something away from her she runs to me to save her. She loves to play outside with a soccer ball. Her nick name is "Big Bag" or "Baby" and she lives up to that name. She is the sweetest, most perfect dog we have ever owned. Katie never does anything to get in trouble.

"The Girls" truly run our household. The are our kids since ours have grown up. They love to play and be loved. We laugh at them all the time. The three of them can do some funny things. They love to go to Fla. and play at the beach. I tell them to go get in the golf cart and off they go. Katie and Dixie love the ocean. If I do not throw the ball in the water they will stand in it and wait. Bella loves to race up and down the beach. They love to chase the sea gulls. I go to the beach with dry clean dogs and return with tongues hanging, wet, sandy, happy dogs. They do not even mind a bath when we come back.

I know this took alittle time but now when you read about "the girls, the dogs, Katie, Dixie or Bella" you will know who you are reading about.

One side note, We also have a granddog named Molly. I'll talk about her later.
